Is Scarborough Hospital really safe?

A patient had to travel to Hull Royal Infirmary this week, having suffered a secondary bleed, following a throat operation at Scarborough hospital; this was because they have no provision for ear, nose and throats at Scarborough. The patient then had to make a two and a half hour journey to get home after treatment.

NOSWINEMOORHOSPITALSAYS: They are moving certain services to Hull!  Is this so they can say Scarborough is no longer a viable hospital and so will have to be closed down?
