Neither Alfred Bean or Bridlington Hospital could treat her son

A lady from Driffield took her son to Alfred Bean Hospital at about 8 pm last month, following his fall. They could not treat him there and she was told to go to Bridlington Hospital. Not having a car, she had to travel  by public transport, but on arrival, was told that Bridlington did not have the facilities to treat her son either and that she must go to Scarborough  Hospital.  She arrived at Scarborough Hospital at about 11pm…her son had a broken arm.   She then had to pay for a taxi to get the family home in the early hours of the morning.
